El oficial, Miguel de Jes\u00fas Fa\u00f1a coment\u00f3 que aunque la Defensa Civil y otros organismos de socorro suspendieron las labores de b\u00fasqueda, ese organismo naval contin\u00faa realizado su trabajo. Seg\u00fan inform\u00f3 a DiarioDigitalRD, descart\u00f3 que en la yola viajaran personas porque la misma ten\u00eda capacidad para albergar solo 30 personas y cree que tras el accidente, exceptuando a los tres que murieron, todos lograron salir con vida.
